Hi

To me almost every scene with sky involved seems to be overexposed. Are you using zebras at all to control exposure?

I have found the autoexposure tends to over exposure.

Hi again

The tests with both XH-A1 and the XF100 was great to see though. It seems as the XH-A1 is a bit more sensitiv in low light situations. Thanks for sharing the test with us!

/Bo

This seems quite a common trait with Canon and Sony. It's usually possible to dig into the AE setup in the menu and reduce the exposure to your liking.

No question the A1 won out on the candlelit clips.

But I thought the XF100 showed a truer white balance and crisper image even at the darker stops otherwise.

My plan was to upload videos on my trip, but I'm now in China and Vimeo is ”no go” from inside there.

Auto focus
Gain: +9 dB

That makes sense though, as the XHA1 is a 3 chip (albeit 3 CCD) camera.

Slashcam has it the other way, with the XF100 more sensitive, USING THE 50i MODE.
