New XF300/305 Hood+Lenscap
 

At the IBC I was shown a new hood with integrated lenscap for the XF300 and XF305, finally with the integrated lenscap instead of the separate one, so now it more of less resembles the Sony ones, where you move a slider to open or close the lenscap. Great, I thought, but I can't get it anywhere. Anybody knows what I'm talking about and where to get it?

Harm, was it a Canon product? Maybe it goes on the XF350 :)

It was definitely a Canon product, shown at the Canon stand by a Canon engineer and he had it on the XF305. The XF300 next to it did not have the new model. He told me is was new, he did not know when it would be available, so I contacted Canon here and they did not know either. Hence my question.
