Frankfurt Auto Show 2007
 

Done with the XHA1 Canon during the 2nd Press Day. I was there for another job so this was a personal rush through , I've only covered 4 halls in the 5 hour. Hope you guys enjoy the cars .

The only thing bad I notice about the camera is that it goes crazy when you shoot red. The Viper and the Ferrari shots have alot of colour spilling. I guess most 1/3 CCD chip camera are like that. I should have paid more attention when shooting red. I know my DVX and my PDX10 does that too but this is major.

You can view it in two different formats : Quicktime or Flash , play it in Quicktime for better compression .

Really nice job - great promo style video and you make the cars look gorgeous

you can definitely see the difference in quality between the flash and the quicktime

how big is that quicktime file? It looks sharp as a tack and loaded fairly quick. I'm trying to compress a 10 minute short I've done and i've been trying all the various export options, but can't seem to get a decent quality without getting into big sizes

Thanks for the comments, the quicktime file is 71mb for something like 6mins. the frame size is 640 x 360. using H264 Quicktime. It took about 30 mins to upload my file to Blip TV. You be faster if you have a faster DSL connection

I find Blip Tv way better then Youtube.

I need to check my camera persent. It was a cine look present that I used. I let you know soon.

Great cars - but i i don`t like this way to use zoom on most shots. Simply too much - most of them without begin and end.

I was trigg happy with the zoom present on the XHA1. Just need to see how it work out on those shoots. Well I guess it's a matter of personal taste. I also shot the non zoom version, But I find that it is just flat, it doesn't go with the tampo of the music and there is no element of surprise , I edited it to a trailer style, but got a bit lazy with the graphics and motion. I have to do more work on this clip when I'm done with my house renovation. I'll do a shorter clip ...

The setting on my present for this shoot was more towards Cinelook:

Because of the hash enviroment of the lights i think it is better to tone it down abit and make it look Cine

Had time to do a shorter version, due to many complains about the use of zoom, I did a "easier for the eyes" version.
