You know, all of us are still learners in video.

Personally I didn't "get it" either, but don't let that affect you at all - you know what? Some critics didn't like Lord of the Rings too. Every film in the world that's ever been made has had someone not "get it".

It just doesn't matter - the important thing is to revel in the fact that you've made a film, and at least someone, somewhere will like it! :-)

I find it hard not to take it to heart when someone doesn't like my films too, but it's just one of those things - it doesn't matter.

Watching ... Waiting ...

Per my previous post, I've been watching many of the post/videos on this forum. I've had a chance to watch Ricci's post, which if I remember correctly started out as experimenting with his new camera and then Letus. I could be wrong.

Although the bird video is not to everyone's liking I'm just happy to see experimentation/creative processes going on with the equipment. Of course, in the long run this leads to improving processes.

I have a least a month before I purchase my camera, and it seems to be the worst wait EVER. I do, however, take comfort in watching the post on this forum and appreciate the creativity and willingness to share.

Ricci, please continue your experimentation and sharing (I'm sure you're already an experienced shooter, I don't mean to imply otherwise), as it helps those like myself ... even if we don't comment.

And it gives me inspiration that when I purchase my camera, I'll get a chance to kick the tires and play around creatively just as many of you are.

-Jay
