Canon XH A1 workflow Question
 
Hello,
If someone can point me in the right direction.
I normally record in HDV 1080i and using FCP to edit to SD DVD. It seems as if my quality is a bit "squared" or box on edges. (it's barely noticeable but it's there)
Looking to compare workflows!

Can you post a screen grab so we can see what you mean by boxy? Is it just that you have been used to looking at HD and then exporting to SD it looks slightly more pixelated?

What export are you using to compress to SDDVD?
