Well sounds like you're all set :) Really, thats a nice group of cameras to cover all sorts of requirements.

I also had to upgrade my 5d this year, the 5d II should be here this week.
I replaced the 5d mainly as a back up to my 1d III and 1ds III cameras, but if the video is good may use it at times for video.

LOL, great statement and yep I fall into that catagory.

David, I like the rail idea, I never thought of that and it could solve my problem. Thanks

Ditto Philip and Jonathan! Very funny! I could add: why is that out-of-focus? Too dark? Too bright? Why is my camera bag in the foreground - who put that there?! I didn't turn the mic on!! What ****ing preset is that? etc

We should start a general tales of incompetence thread - it'd make me feel better anyway.

Ok, I now have Diet Mountain Dew to clean off my monitor, isnt it funny how fast $hit happens and hopefully the hours of preperation get you out of a bind.

I've seen great color from Sony cameras. However, I boosted the color in camera for ocean shots on my XHA1. Some amazing shots over the past year, way beyond my ability, due to the luck of lighting and action and being in the right place at the right time. Some not so great moments due to my fault. *Clouds rolling over at the wrong time, unable to rebalance the settings quickly. How did that *&%#! (during editing) boom mike get in the frame? Uh oh, I thought I packed extra tapes, or batteries... (as the camera shuts off in the middle of a never to be seen again classic moment)
