small monitor for flipping image on xha1?

Anyone know of a SMALL external lcd "monitor" (less than 7", preferably between 2.4"-6" or so) that I could use with the XH-A1?

I'm looking to use it for a non-flip adapter. I don't much care about the quality of the resolution...I mainly just want something small, light weight, and that will enable me to see the image coming from my camera right side up.

The small and light weight requirement rules out dvd players that I know of. New monitors like the smallHD are both too big and too expensive. And I honestly don't need that much resolution.

(Steven Dempsey was looking for something like this a while back, but don't think he found anything.)

Any help would be appreciated!

Well my first suggestion was to go to walmart and buy the smallest portable DVD player they have with an AV in jack (that's what I do), but you say this wont work, why wont it? works great for me unless you want to mount it to the camera or something.

Small monitor.

Hi, have you thought about a car headrest mount LCD that goes with a car DVD player? i have a Centurion one with AV input,it works fine as a viewfinder but it's 7" diagonal. I have seen smaller screens on E-bay but they tend to be in Hong kong.
As an aside, I know you don't want a DVD player but I've just tried an LG with 800x600 8" screen and the picture is unbelievable! It comes with a 3hr. battery and internal memory for £99. Don't forget you'll will need a 12v. supply.

there are two issues with both this and the 2.5" monitor from Ikan: (1) they don't appear to support the 16x9 aspect ratio (this would be alright if the image were letterboxed, but it's not clear whether it is), and (2) there doesn't appear to be a way to mount the monitors upside down (@ 180 degrees) so that an image from a flipped adapter appears right side up.

The Ikan Lanc Director 4.3" clearly supports 16x9, but doesn't appear upside down mountable and is also $500--ouch!
