John, in this case I'm using a 35mm lens adapter on the XH-A1. The 35mm format SLR lens being used on the adapter is a Canon f 1.4 50mm lens, hence the referal to the 50mm lens.

The XH-A1 has a fixed lens, 20X zoom. It's big brother, the XL-H1, is the one sporting interchangeable lenses.
