60i or 24f
Hi,
Just wondering if it might be better to shoot in 60i than convert the footage to 24p in post instead of shooting in 24f to get as much information as possible? Thanks Phil |
I think you'll have better, cleaner looking footage if you shoot in 24F rather than converting it after the fact.

It's been concluded that 24f will give you a 10-12% drop in resolution. Converting 60i to 24p in post would lose a lot more resolution than that I'd imagine.
