hey dude awesome video!
Just curious what NLE are you using and did
you use more than one camera?

Jourdan McClure March 23rd, 2007 10:08 PM

Killer video!!!!!! Did you shoot it, cut it, or direct it? Either way that is wonderful. What did you cut it in?

Ramon Boutviseth March 24th, 2007 01:48 AM

I directed & edited the video. here are some photos with the rig.

I used Vegas 7 with cineform. Edited it in a 720x480 timeline.

Very nicely done! Goes to show you how good lighting can make all the difference in shooting. I saw a rail system in some of the stills, which rail system did you use?

On a side note, I saw someone wearing a Winter X-Games jacket. Did they work X-Games?

Ramon Boutviseth March 24th, 2007 10:18 AM

yea the guy whos wearing it, his name is Jeff "Boomer" Alred, hes got a few emmys under his belt. he shot it for me.

Jourdan McClure March 24th, 2007 08:27 PM

Doug Davis March 25th, 2007 12:46 PM

Stellar Vid man... Good stuff, glad to see Vegas getting some love... : )

Phil Kay March 27th, 2007 03:08 AM

Man that is fantastic! I found it looking for reviews on the Canon XH-A1. After I have typed this I'm on the phone to order one! The footage is superb.

Ramon Boutviseth March 28th, 2007 03:38 PM

We had a par light in the back, 750w, thanks for the comments guys.

Xh A1
Ramon since you used the M2 35 adapter what did you do to flip the image while shooting. Or did you do the flip on a monitor. If you could let me know I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks a bunch.

Ramon Boutviseth April 3rd, 2007 09:50 PM

my dp brought a monitor and we turned it upside down.

Jourdan McClure April 4th, 2007 09:52 AM

thanks sounds simple enough.

Jerrod Cordell April 11th, 2007 11:47 AM

I really like the music video. I'm glad to see that there are a few music videos up on this forum. Once I get my XH-A1 I'm gonna be making a music video for a local indie band where I live. It should be cool. I like the band too by the way. The video seems to fit their style. Bravo. *golfer clap*
