help with red overload
hey guys here are my settings for my presets:
Gamma: Cine 1 Color Matrix: Normal Color Gain: 15 Color Phase: 0 Knee: Auto Black: Middle Master Ped: 0 Setup Level: 0 HDF: Mid H/V Detail: 0 Sharpness: 0 NR1: Off NR2: Off Coring: 0 Red Gain: 0 Green Gain: 0 Blue Gain: 0 RG Matrix: 0 RB Matrix: 0 GR Matrix: 0 GB Matrix: 0 BR Matrix: 0 BG Matrix: 0 Balanced for tungsten. Everything is manual, so i don't know what is going on. Looks fine through the eyepiece but on the monitor it looks super red. The editor can take a little out in post, but I'm a firm believer of getting it right the first time. Finished half the sound stage shots and doing next half tomorrow. Will also be doing several outdoor shots in the late morning. I guess my main question is do you see anything wrong with my presets? Oh, before anyone asks no we were not using any red gels. thanks, Rick |
Should be no problem with those settings. Is the monitor calibrated?

we were reviewing the dailies on a hd tv. I thought it would be fine, maybe something was wrong with the tv display.

Canon's Cine line is a joke? Not really sure what you mean, can you expand please?
