Hey, not a problem. I'm always happy to help.

I can't remember exactly what I paid for it, maybe around $1300 but it's this one: http://www.lcdracks.com/monitors/vr70phda.html

Steven,
In reference to a little heated discussion we had in another one of your threads:

These shots look great and tack sharp. The main subject looks perfectly focused with no fall off whatsoever and the background is significantly blurry to boot. It makes the image pop! This looks great and removes a lot of doubt I had about the 35mm adapter.

Peace!

Amen, brother :)

Looks great. Thanks for posting this clip. I love that switch of focus to a shallower DOF when the ball makes it the catcher.

Hello Steven,

Long time lurker first time poster.

Just wanted to say that you do excellent work... your an inspiration to me and alot of us on this forum.

I did however have a question for you i am hopng you can help me out with...? On the second clip about 5-6 seconds in there is a horizontal bar that comes across the batter's jersey/chest. What is that and is that something from the camera..? I have noticed that on other footage in the past... not from you... but was wondering if that is something to look into and how to correct in the future.

Many thanks in advance and keep up the great work!!!

-Rick

In this example the focus goes from the pitcher to the batter, something I just couldn't achieve effectively using the A1 lens.

This is just a 5 second clip

EDIT: Here's another clip (no rack focus here) that demonstrates the advantage in isolating the player from the background. It really allows the viewer to filter out all the background distraction and just pay attention to the player:

Thanks Rick, that line you mention is a result of compressing the file for the Web. There was a glitch in the compressed version. The original does not display this line.

Thanks for the help....

For furture ref..
do you think it would be easier to just reload the file rather than worry about trying to tweak or correct that... only reason i ask is we have had that happen to files when posted internally to a network and the original footage is archived. So rather than pulling teh tapes was wondering if you had any other ideas...? Our equipment gets heavily used so i choked it up to enviormental conditions at the time..

Thanks again!
