Do you see a difference? If you do, What do you like better? If you see one that you like better I'll tell which one was it. I don't see a difference as far as quality.

I personally like the A1 better because of the ways you can set it up.
The FX1 is about $500.00 less but with less options. (no 24 fps is one of them)

Some people say that the A1 is grainy in daylight, what's your opinion?

I liked the man better, because the white balance (or the lighting) of the woman take wasn't properly set :) I'd guess the man was the A1, but there's not much white area in the man's take so it won't be a fair compare. Bluish, bleak colors should mean Sony...

Well, we would need shots of the same motif to really compare.

The A1 is without a doubt the best HDV camera under $5,000.
The only question is. Am I buying this camera to make money or pretend that I am Pro because I use a Pro Camera?
