XH-A1 HD out to camera?
 

I've done a couple searches here and haven't found an answer to this - Is it possible to play from FCP back to the XH-A1 in HD? I could really use the achiving space.

well of course !
 

Just put it on tape to the camera through the firewire !
Then you have archived the footage on tape

Yeah - that doesn't work for me (the option in the FCP menu is grayed out ).
I guess it's more of a NLE question.

You can only preview through firewire with DV not HDV.
