Line In Attenuator

Would the low price Behringer DI-120 http://www.behringer.com/DI20/index.cfm?lang=eng be what I need to allow me to take a line feed from a mixer into the XLRs on the XL2?

Any advice on better suited products also welcomed.

Cheers,

Ian . . .

Hi Ian. That's not really the product you want, it is more for matching a high impedance source to a low impedance input.

Here's an in-line attenuator with RCA connections.

And here's one with XLR connections.

Ah yes, that's the one - the AT product. Many thanks Richard.

Cheers,

Ian . . .

p.s. would I actually need a pad to go to the RCA in's? I thought they were at line level already. As you can tell, pretty much an audio newbie here!

No, you are right. But if the mixer outputs are RCA you can put the pads at that end of the cable.
