Question on Canon TA-100

Hi, I am thinking about getting the TA-100 QR plate because the "single screw" plate that came with my Bogon 503 keeps coming loose. Now my question is, since the TA-100 plate mounts to the original tripod plate via the same "single screw" won't that also tend to come loose? Bob

Bob, I have the TA100 and the Manfrotto (Bogen in USA? I believe) head and I haven't had any problems with the screw loosening. Must admit though, as the screw is going into the TA100 and not the camera mount, I have tightened it more than I would have had it been direct to camera as less to damage/cheaper to replace than the camera mounting plate. Hope this helps, Mike.

Mike thanks. I ended up getting the TA-100. It arrived the other day and I am very pleased with it. I used both mounting screws that came with the original Bogan plate and fell confident that it will never fall off. I should have done this a long time ago. Bob
