Date of release of XL2- PAL version
 

Hi
Does anyone know the precise date of release for the PAL version of the XL2. I desperately need to buy a cam. So tired of waiting for the XL2 that am now thinking of settling for the DVX.

I called last Tuesday Canon Finland and they told me they are getting the first XL2s (PAL version) into the country on Wednesday, and that I should get mine September 27 or 28, i.e. next Monday or Tuesday. So, guess the PAL version is already released (at least I hope so).

In Norway the offical releasedate is October 1st.

Zohar, not yet, and what Nils says is interesting for today Canon told me that the XL2 is released at once in whole the Scandinavia ( i.e., in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Island)

i'll be a major distributor of it here in oz, and im yet to hear word of ETA and $$

I got a call, and will get the XL2 tomorrow morning.
