XL2 (PAL, NTSC) only $3,500 in Asia
 

Hello,

I found a Canon dealer in Vietnam that offering Canon Xl2 for both PAL and NTSC for $3,500 even. (they do not have a website)

I wask asking for XL1s but they said it has been discontinued. How come is so cheap in Asia but more expensive here in the US.

One thing to keep in mind is that an XL2 purchased outside of Canon USA's dealer network will not be covered by Canon USA's warranty.

The last thing I got out of Vietnam that I REALLY wanted out was ME. ;-) I think I will buy in the U.S. But, seriously, on an investment of this scope, having a valid warranty trumps saving a few bucks.
