David, I just want to put some additional facts into the discussion that might change your point of view:

The due date for conversion in the US to HD is in 2006, which is not much more than a year away. There is potential that this will be put off as far away as 2009.

My initial quetion has to do with the long term effects, and the thought of replacing current XL-1s with new XL-2s. I don't want to spend money if the move will just have to be repeated in 12 to 24 months. I wouldn't want to be in a situation of wanting to do a project and having HD be mandated, and not be able to meet that madate easily.
