Eyepiece adjustment -- more possible?
I have just been reviewing some footage I shot with the 16x manual lens and some of it seems just out of focus to me.
I wear bifocals and remove them for shooting. It appears that the diopter adjustment in the XL2 eyepiece is just short of what I need to focus properly and that may be the reason for the problems I am having. Is there any way to change the range of adjustment? I supposed this could also be a back focus problem. Given the eyepiece adjustment issue, I wonder if I could set the back focus properly in anycase? |
Keep your glasses on? For backfocus adjustment you should
follow the 16x manual on this matter. |
No guarantee that you will be successful but you could try taking the camera to your optician and asking him to cut a blank that would slip in under the eyepiece rubber with the same power as your eyeglasses.

Peter,
I also wear bifocals and in some situations I think its difficult to focus through the eyecup. Lifting up the eyecup looking direct into the viewfinder screendisplay helps me alot! - Per Johan |
