Black Balance

Hi okay, here's another of my dumb questions. I've read that it is important to black balance the camera. Evidently, alot of cameras have automatic black balance. The xl2 doesn't. So, I'm scratching my head on this one. How is it done on this camera? I've searched the forum, and lots of info on WB but I couldn't fine anything on BB.
