Any suggestions?

Hey there,

I apologize in advance for asking this question, but I've got no other way. I'm producing a short film here at my college (not a student film but actually a student run production company) and need some help.

We're shooting with my XL2, which I purchased not too long ago. However, our DP hasn't had much time to play around with it too much and is having a lot of trouble shooting at night in his tests.

I'm wondering if anyone might be able to give us some settings that might help out, or any other tips you might have. Again, I apologize for asking, but we shoot next weekend and are afraid we won't make much progress by then.

Thanks for any help,

Steve

Hello, Steve. There are several threads on XL2 and low light shooting in this forum. Please type" low light" or "noise" into the search engine.
You should find something to help. Good luck.

Adjust things like the knee, black level, master pedestal and obviously iris, shutter and gain, and things should look a bit better.
