Need to know more... is this a raw image out of the camera or have you dumped it to an editor? I have seen this happen a couple times when converting or accidentally calling NTSC footage PAL or vice versa...

ash =o)

its a image export from the premiere timeline

Is he playing an Electric Guitar? It could be interference from the amp/speakers. I've seen that before when shooting near my editing studio. My computer monitor actually displays a similar effect when my cellphone rings.

Electronics.....

well it cant be while i was shooting it, no electronics nearby, can it be while editing? i do have speakers right next to my monitor

Are you viewing on an external NTSC monitor? If so, are you seeing the lines there?

Marlon Torres December 2nd, 2005 06:58 PM

on a monitor, the lines are still there, just not as noticable...wuts ticking me off is it happens randomly just on certain frames while other frames are perfect

Kinda looks like interlaced footage that was resized without being deinterlaced first.

Marlon Torres December 3rd, 2005 09:28 AM

its not interlaced footage, it was shot on 24p on 24p premiere pro timeline

So you don't see it on the tape? If so then it sounds like your NLE is having some type of problem with the pulldown or something. Are you sure you captured it right? You may want to try posting in the NLE Forum
