audio problems!
 
THis is strange. We have a boom mic and a lav one in each channel. We have the toughest time getting both to work correctly at the same time. It's like we can get one to work but then all of a sudden the other won't. It's crazy! On a rare occasion they will both work. When I say don't work I mean either there is no signal or very small signal. The mic is an AKG c1000 which is a very hot mic but it is rare that it gets a good signal, usually it's fairly quiet.

I wish I knew how to explain it better but it just seems to be so random! If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Are you feeding the C1000 a phantom power feed or are you using an internal battery?

also there is plastic attenuator that you can put onto the C1000, is this attached? (it sits directly on the mic, inside)
