Any Zoom Preset Tips and Tricks ?
 

Hi All,

I really like the zoom and focus preset features on the XL2. However, When fully zoomed in, the slightest movment is obviously very noticeable in the picture (even on a steady tri-pod) when you operate the switch on the lens.

Other than having a rock steady hand and tri-pod, has anybody come up with tips and tricks in getting nice steady starts to their zooming and focusing presets?

I'd like to start with full zoom in static for approx 5seconds, then use the slowest zoom pre-set to zoom out to a wider shot. I could play about in post editing afterwards to get the effect, but it would be nice to have it straight from the camera using the pre-set features.

Again, any tips/tricks into smooth zoom/focus pre-sets would be appreciated.
