Backfocus on Canon 16x lens?

I just iherited an XL2 where I work and they have a Canon 16x IF lens on it. They break down the camera and lens to fit a case and naturally, I thought they'd have to check the backfocus everytime they used it. I looked for it, but it wasn't immediately obvious so I thought I'd ask here. Is there a backfocus adjustment on Canon lenses for XL2's? This is not the standard lens that normally comes stock with the camera.
thanks

If this is the black 16X manual lens, loosen the silver colored thumbscrew clamp at the back of the lens.

If this is the 16X white bodied auto lens that came standard on the XL1/s, it's not user adjustable.

Ah, that sounds like it. Once you loosen the screw, is there a ring to adjust?

Yes, the whole clamp will rotate the lens section it's attached to. Follow standard back focus adjustment methods.
