I don't see any bands or lines.
Do you see this when viewing on a TV rather than a computer display? |
Hi John they run top to bottom light then dark then light not all the way to the edges of the screen, still to test on the TV will be doing that next.
My VT4.6 is pretty good though usually if it's on screen it will be on the TV set. |
Did you confirm the bands show up on the TV?
|
Hi John, yes they do but are much fainter still to try the other lens thought so that will be the next stop if you don't know what your looking at and the main subject is in the center of the TV screen there will not much to worried about just want to know what is causing it camera or lens then take i from there.

Mysterous Bands

Hi Andy,
The black bands don't seem to appear on your JPEG picture, aside from the normal astigmatism from the human eye blurring the adjacent real black border around the video. However, if you're objecting to the very thin black line that surrounds the entire video, I'd guess the image is cropped a bit much. So if you're encoding by say 320x240, I'd try re-encoding using a bigger number - maybe 324x242. Here's a pix that I've zoomed in - all looks fine to me. Regards, Michael |
Thanks for the advice Michael I give it a try, still too test the lens yet but been too busy.
