Depends on a few variables. Light level is one. Focusing method is an other. 24p will allow you to work with a 1/48 shutter speed, which increases exposure by about half a stop without the need to increase aperture opening or gain. Adds a tad of motion blur, but all my clients seemed to like the 24p look better for concerts. You need to know how to properly manually focus however, because in 24p the AF, especially in dim lighting conditions such as a concert, is next to useless on medium to long tele focal range. 30p can also be a good compromise in some situations.
