Overcast weather?

We're filming weddings in Tacoma, WA and the weather here is often overcast, if not rainy. What kind of advice do you guys have for outdoor shoots in overcast weather? Either camera settings/lens settings/or custom preset levels--anything you know to do to get rid of the gray snowy colors and bring some light into the day.

Hi Jennifer

I shoot in France and the UK and here weather can be pretty unpredictable...
I find a mattebox with polarizer or 0.9 ND Grad gives me good results.... These have made a huge difference at the shooting stage.. it is easier to treat well exposed shots than blown out pictures... the grads especially help with skies.

Since then, I've acquired Magic Bullet and tried some of the filters for skies too.. these can help add colour where its lacking and change the look of the pictures....
Here's and idea from one of my fishing promo clips: http://www.anglinglines.com/wmv/genets500.wmv...

You really have to decide on a look you want an strive to get that... but having a few tools helps....

Voilà my techniques...
Regards
Gareth
