Types of DV tapes to use for XL-H1a?

Hi everyone. I just bought my new XL-H1a and have not recorded on a tape yet. It did came with a 63min HDV miniDV tape that is different from my other miniDVs. Although they are the same format, is there a special miniDV tape i should use or just the regular one when filming on the XL-H1a? Thanks everyone in advance.

The general consensus is that you don't need to pay extra for so-called HDV tapes. Just use high quality pro-level dv tapes and you'll be fine. People tend to gather around the Sony and the Panasonic.

I went with the following tapes but I was told that switching back and forth is not a good idea with the camera. Pick one Sony or Panasonic and stick with it.
