DTC-1000 (Component) to HDMI Cable?

Is this possible to go from the XL-H1 Component output at the back of the camer to the HDMI jack on an HDTV?

Unfortunately, no. Component video is analog. HDMI is digital.

you can however take the HDSDI output of the camera and swap it to HDMI using a blackmagic HDLINK converter (of course if you're using converters you could use an AJA analog to digital converter to take a component cable and make it digital.)

Yup. I have two HDLink adapter boxes. They work great.

I don't know if this would work for what you want to do, but it sound like an interesting solution, and it's not that expensive.
