Put up or shut up!
I have been a silent viewer of DVi for some time now and have picked up some invaluable advice just by searching these forums. I am the proud owner of a vx2100 and do some amature video of mostly bands in the L.A. area. I have a day job and do it for fun. Since last year when the fx1 was released I have been following the growth of the hdv format and the new XL-H1 and HDX-200 from a tecnology buff's perspective. I am curious of what this new breed of camera's can do. Now that brings me to my point. The XL-H1 has been out for a week now and there has only been one or two clips posted, one of which was from someone who tried the camera out at his local store and brought the clips home on his laptop and posted them for us to see (thank you). Now for you early adopters who have yet to post a single clip, what are you doing? If you are waiting to show a finished product thats great but take us along for the ride. Before and afters are always great. And now for the guy who posted picture of him with the camera in his livingroom the day it came out, what's up? You post a few times a day even in the panasonic forum telling us how great your new toy is and what it does. Think of how excited you are to have it. Some of us are equally excited and don't own it but would love to see some footage and I am sure that could help others deceide to buy it or not. So kindly put up or shut up!

You could also be more friendly with your first post here...
Footage will come, don't worry, don't expect it immediately. The people who have this cam, are just getting to know it. Let them have their time before they post footage. Not for us to decide what they should do and when to do it. |
I'll shut up.

Jon,
PC USERS: CineForm Connect HD 2.1 (www.cineform.com) MAC USERS: HDVxDV (www.hdvxdv.com) Both work fine and will capture 24p footage from the Canon XL-H1. - ShannonRawls.com |
