The first XLH1 podcast was released today. They plan to do a series of podcasts on the XLH1.

You need to click "subscribe" in iTunes to see the latest podcast.

Now that was just too cool. I hope to watch all the other episodes.

I find it very exciting that apple has shown this kind of committment to the H1. I think it bodes well for all the Mac/FCP users ... like me.

Well, it's not Apple who made the podcast Vince, if you where thinking so. But never the less, a good in initiative!

Link/Podcast is only available if iTunes is installed?

Anyone creative feel like posting an alternative rip of the podcast? I've got a personal gripe against resource hungry, registry loving apps that pose as cute lil do-gooders. Sure there are others out there too...

My H1 should arrive in a couples days and I've been gobbling up everything I can find - love to keep track of this feed...

Thanks for all the hard work guys.

Excuse me, am I missing something here? After 20 years of suffering, knowing my films are being seen on 18" Gold Star TVs, I am supposed to now get excited about shooting HD and having it viewed on an IPod? New technology or not, I don't think so...

Scott Hebert January 26th, 2006 03:45 PM

i am confused by your comment steve

Vincent Rozenberg January 26th, 2006 04:12 PM

@ Steve: I think you miss the point. I think Tim started this thread to inform us that there is a vodcast about the ins and outs of the XL-H1. Not to start a discussion about the iPod..

That would be a serious legal violation; unauthorized re-distribution of material protected by copyright. Not only will I not allow any such links here on this site, but I will also assist Ripple Training with tracking down the infringing party. Let's respect other people's work please. Thanks in advance,

Ahhh - good call Chris. Don't mean to take up your time on such things. Rough intro to your crew and a wonderful rep I've got already. ;)

It looks like I'm not the only one who wasn't quite clear on what was posted...

Don't mean to get off topic, but this could add context for folks like me: http://www.rippletraining.com/engine/ripplecasts.html

Episode 2 has been posted to the podcast (aka Ripplecast.)

Ep 2 discusses the new lens.
