XLH1 P Pro workflow question

I've posted before that I'm researching my new camera choice, and leaning towards the XLH1. I still have a couple of unanswered questions about the work flow.
1- Right now I shoot with an XL2, and cature with an FS 4 hard drive (sometimes).
2- We just up graded to P Pro 2.0.

Here's wht i've learned about the XLH1-
1-I can only capture to the FS 4 in 60i. (from what I read here). Apparentely, firestore doesn't support 24f yet .
2-If I shoot in 60i, I can capture to the FS 4 while shooting hdv. But unlike the Sony Z1 ( Also posted here), I can't simultaneously shoot in hdv and capture downconverted sd to the firestore FS4. Does anyone know if this is definately the case?
So what do I do if I want to cut footage with a second sd camera, and edit in sd, but want to shoot in hdv on the XLH1? (I figured out that you can't mix sd and hdv footage on the same timeline...DUH).
In P Pro 2.0 we didn't have any problems with the Z1 footage. Hopefully someone here is using P Pro with the XLH1.
Thanks for any help

I'm sure I read that you can mix HD and SD in the same timeline using the new Edius, but I'm not sure about P Pro 2.0.

I'm in the same position as yourself, but I've still to upgrade my software as well. This is going to be an expensive year, but providing I take my time and spend wisely, it'll be well worth it.

You can...
If you set the camera to downconvert via the firewire output...you will be recording HDV to tape and DV to the firestore. :)

james-
I was mistaken. You can mix hdv and sd in the same project in P Pro 2, as lomg as it's an sd project. At least it looked ok to me.

jason-
That's excellent news.

But here's the other question I forgot to mention.
If the other camera (xl1s) shoots in 4:3, or the customer wants it in 4:3,what do you do about the downconverted hdv footage? Is there a way to downconvert to 4:3, or dies it have to be done in the dvd authoring program?
