Price for our eagerly awaited 6x zoom
 

The price settled for Sweden is (for now) 23 996 SEK+VAT (swedish crowns)(about 3250 bucks+VAT). Maybe I'm trying to be the Ralph Nader of Canon video equipment, but have anyonyone seen any (sharp) prices yet (anyware, USA, EU, JPN, China, Addis Abeba, Studio City, Örkelljunga (Sweden) or what ever)....

Well the list price here in the U.S. is $2999, so I'm expecting it to sell at that amount or very close to it when it first starts to ship later in October.

$2999 + VAT or...?

Maybe we could go together in the XL H1 forum and by a bunch of 6X zooms to a extremly good "only for you my friend" price?

The high definition of customer power ;-)
