It can give stuttering pans, in both modes. Didi is refering to stuttering in "camera movements". Just a thought, probably not the cause, but anyway...

Happy to help!
Tip of the day #2: Today I found a little helpful thing for our tired XL H1 "evf eyes". No more tears, in front of the cutting board when looking at "all so good but out of focus clips". It's only a piece of paper and it really works! Have a look on CamFocus ( http://www.dsclabs.com/camfocus.htm ). You can buy that nice product or you can easily make one youself from a test chart! I have done mine from two testcharts, I did not have the "Siemens star" as CamFocus but simmilar, and it's so much easier to focus! |
shutter judder
You sound like someone with enough experience to know about shutter angles on film and/or shutter speed on video, the whole 24f thing will look pretty juddery if your shutter speed is set faster that 1/48th of a second. a wierd quirck that could easily be missed if you just got the camera and the shutter wasn't locked to 1/48th. 1/48th sould be equivillent to a 180 degree shuttter on a film camera providing the same type of "natural" motion blur. May not help but if it does great!
best regards, Anthony |
