H1 Audio Into Kona 3
 

We have this Kona 3 card and we want to import DVCProHD30p from an XLH1 with the SDI cable and RCA/XLR Audio Outs. We are getting the image in FCP 5.1.1 great, but tthere is no Audio. We went to AJA with this issue and they said the best thing to do was to buy an HD10AVA adapter. $800.00.

Is there another way to get the SDI signal with audio into final cut Using DVCProHD codec without spending extra cash?
