Crash Cam?

Hey guys,

anyone know of a crash cam or something of its equivelant made for the XLH-1? I have a stunt sequence to shoot on saturday where someone needs to hit the camera dead on with a duffle bag, the bag will be full of pillow stuffing. wonder if i could build something real quick, any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Have you considered the $1300 Canon HV10 consumer HDV camcorder? As long as your scene is well lit and you're not shooting in Frame mode, it should intercut nicely with the XL H1.

There you go ... see if you can rent a little camera like that, then suspend it in a PVC pipe frame with a web of bungie cords to absorb shocks.
