bags(backpacks) for the H1.
 

i'm looking for a backpack to carry my camera in as the one i use at the moment isn't all that safe.
petrol do one for the f900's and i'm looking for something like that, but with more space to carry stuff such as clothes and food/water.

this bag is big enoygh, but i't not really designed to hold treking stuff as well as a camera.

does any body have an suggestions?

Hey charles, you may want to look into that petrol bag, I used one on a couple of shoots, and you'd be surprised at how much stuff you can fit in there. additionally that back part zips off and you can put stuff at the bottom of the case as well. The interior dividers are velcro as well so you move that stuff around too. I think this might be pretty god for what you're looking for. Lowepro makes similar packs but I don't like those nearly as much.

I use the Crumpler Karachi Outpost backpack. It's a bit of a tight fit, but the XL H1 and all accessories fit. I have to take the mic off to put it in, but I can leave the viewfinder on. In this configuration the camera pushes out the area of the pack that rests on your spine, so it's not the best for long hikes, but it's comfortable enough for short walks. For a longer hike, one could reconfigure the pack to lay the camera on its side, though the viewfinder would have to be separated in this case.

The advantage is that the Karachi Outpost is smaller and more manageable than the other bags, such as the Petrol. And the design and manufacture of this bag is fantastic.
