XL1s living in a truck

Hi everyone.

Would my XL1s be ok living out in my truck for a few hours today while I'm at work or should I bring it inside with me.

Outside temp. approx 60 + greenhouse effect in truck.

Need to use it today when I get out in the field but keeping it in dispatch would be a little tight.

Any suggestions would be great.

I would think that temp should be fine. However, I typically carry mine into the office (but usually looking a much hotter or much colder temps than 60).

No problem.

I drive a "company" vehicle that is equipped with everything that you can imagine and some things that you cannot, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All my cameras, tapes, support equipment, etc., reside in this vehicle regardless of weather.

In the last 18 years, I have never, ever, had a problem stemming from keeping equipment in the vehicle. This applies to hardware as well as tape stock, etc.

Your biggest concern should be how to camoflage the equipment to keep prying eyes and greedy little hands from absconding with it.

Thanks guys.

My equip. is well hidden.

I would hate to have someone break into the truck. They would have 8 angry ambulance crews to deal with and then the cops when they come to play too. They don't take kindly to people messing with us. =)
