Sony UHF Wireless Microphone?
Anyone using the Sony UHF Wireless microphone UWP-C1. Does it work well?
Good or bed experience? Thanks. |
I have used that one, but Sony does make a number of very good units...they do make a few dogs. So if in doubt, try before you buy.
If you can provide a link to unit in question, some of the people here may be able to provide you more information. P.S. Apologies to my dogs Cloe and Lady |
I use a UWP-C1 in my wedding productions. I wire the groom with it, coupled with an ECM-77 lav mic. I'd suggest upgrading to the ECM-77...sounds phenominal compared to the included psuedo ECM-44. If I have the time I'll post some audio from the vows in my recent project.

it is a very helpful system, thanks to the variable gain input on the emitter. I usually connect it to many kind of source (from mic to mixing table line output) and always get a clean sound.
For sure, the mic provided is just ok and you can find many other microphones with better quality. battery life is excellent when used with good alkaline batteries. just missing the monitor output on the emitter (useless on the receiver, where you can usually use the one of the cam). |
