Can anyone help
 

I'm getting horizontal lines on the xl1s. Its about 5 weeks old and a cleaning cassette doesn't seem to achieve anything.
Could the problem be something else or could the heads be too dirty?

Have you used a cleaning cassette?
Fresh tape?

Missed spending a month in your country this summer. I also spent two days in Galway. Lovely city.

I had the same problem, however not after only 5 weeks. I had to send it back to Canon for a service.
