quickstart guide??
 
Hi all,

As I've got a test shoot this weekend on and XL1 and I've never used one before, I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some sort of quickstart/quick reference guide that covers the main functions.

Download the operator's manual from canondv.com. That's your best bet.

downloaded that just now :), was wondering if there was anything, kinda 1 or 2 pages for reference. Will be reading thru the manual tho!! :)

EASY MODE is your QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
 
actually the manual is fairly simple - I don't think they make a quick reference guide for this...Your quick reference guide would be to put the camera in the "EASY" mode and shoot away.
