Hi, i'm new to the forum and am I right in thinking that if I use the XL1 for recording, remove the tape and playback in my other dv handicam all the footage shot would not differ in quality?
This would help head wear? Any advice greatly welcomed! steve steve@neoeon.com |
yes, you're correct - using another deck/camera for transferring to a computer will not effect image quality and is encouraged to reduce wearing out heads on your main camera.

thanks for that!
Just secured a JVC Mini Dv as new off ebay for a steal! Anything to prolong head wear then! Any more tips as a newbie XL1 owner? thanks steve |
