Slow Motion

I have some 60i footage shot at 120th shutter speed, that I converted to 23.976 using the 60p to 24p converting setting then 24p to 23.976. The Footage looks amazing, fluid slow motion, excellent resolution easy easy easy.

Problem is when I import this file into Adobe Premiere CS3 in a 23.976fps cineform project it reads the file as 11.99fps and it plays back horribly, frame blending and stuttering. It also does this from the 24p file, as well as any other project setting frame rates.

Its too bad because this was a very easy, very good looking slow motion workflow...until Premiere...

It should not do that. Sounds like a question for tech support, please file a ticket at www.cineform.com/support. However why did you convert twice -> 60p to 24p then 24p to 23.976? Seems like that could be you error.

Hi David,

The 24p file when imported into CS3 has the same problem as the 23.976 file, they are both read as 11.99fps I made both files while I was trouble shooting.

Thank you for your reply and I will fill out a ticket.
