QT mov from Neo/HD Link plays only 12 fps
 

Day two of the micro ATX build started badly. Apparently one of my students accessed my computer and loaded a virus into the computer that made Neo crash. We had set up the camera and PC at the entryway of the film school to set up some more complex shots. Anyway, had to take it down and back to the office to troubleshoot. So we did a system restore and it was back to normal.

Now, after several 3-5 minute captures, it functioned well, but playback was stuttering. The QT info indicated 23.98 but the actual frame rate for playback on both mac and PC quicktime player was maxed out at 12fps. Only by importing into FCS2 and converting to Apple ProRes 422 HQ did the clip appear normal and run at full 23.98. Is this just a problem with QT mov wrapper or do you have any ideas why we can't sustain full frame playback? Thanks-
