Matrox MXO2
 

Hi there,

Not sure how the MXO2 works in PPRO CS3, but I was wondering if Cineform would work with such a device?

Thinking about purchasing one for monitoring and capturing in the field, that is, until Cineform 'Solid' comes out...

A.f.a.i.k. the MXO2 will be "codec agnostic" i.e. it will simply be a Quicktime compatible source that you can use from any Quicktime enabled application with any installed codec supported by that application.

As it is still a couple of months at least before it will ship, I cannot say for sure but in all likelihood it will work with PPRO.

I'm not sure if you can use Aspect/Prospect to capture directly into Cineform that way, maybe David Newman can venture a guess?

Other tools like ScopeBox should also work with the MXO2.
