ProspectHD & DV- Any Advantage??

I need to edit a project shot in DV several years ago. Is there any advantage in capturing as Cineform 480i and editing it in a Prospect 480 project?? Will HDLink and Prospect extrapolate DV to 4:2:2 10 bit, and give some additional digital headroom for editing, CC, effects, etc., resulting in a better quality final movie for DVD?
Or, is it just as well to capture and edit as ordinary DV on a standard DV Premiere CS3 timeline?

I'm no expert but yes I gather you would benefit from converting all your clips to 4:2:2 10 bits.

Robert, ultimately the determining factor is how much you'll push your images in post. If you have demanding requirements in post then you will definitely benefit by the deeper precision of the CineForm files. If your post demands are "lite" then you're probably okay editing DV. But remember that DV renders tend to lose a lot of fidelity with each generation which will otherwise be retained as CineForm files.

That was my thinking as well. I'm not doing anything unusual in post, but there will be color correction, graphic overlays, maybe some slo mo/fast motion, etc.
I was also thinking that color wise, going from DV 4:1:1 to DVD 4:2:0, I might benefit from a Cineform 4:2:2 intermediate to possibly get better color sampling in the final DVD out.
I sort of know the theoretical reasons why it should be better, I was just wondering if anyone had some experience where they have actually seen the difference.
