Prospect HD Interlace problem.
5 Attachment(s)
Source clips are 50i (25fps interlace), MP4 files from EX1. When I convert them to Cineform AVI (HD Link Prospect HD), with Deinterlace option off, the result clip looked like got deinterlace anyway.
I did a comparison test at the same timecode. 1. MP4 file - HDLink AVI - After Effects (clip got deinterlace eventhough Intepret Footage - Separate Fields:OFF) 2. MP4 file - After Effects (clip doesn't get deinterlace, Intepret Footage - Separate Fields:OFF) I uploaded sample files, but only a quarter portion of the image so we can see it at 100% viewing. |
Just testing the latest Prospect build with MP4 EX1 footage and I'm not seeing this interlacing bug. File a trouble ticket and upload a short mp4 Ex1 sample that does it and send the link to support.

Problem solved by applying registry patch, support sent me. Thanks.
Case Closed. |
Might add the registry patch was not to fix a CineForm issue, rather the MPEG decoder has its default settings changed by a third party application.
