m2t/cine avi ?

I posted this in Vegas but got no responses so here is my question.

I have my first big hd project and it is composed of two cine avi segments and one m2t file.

the cineform files come out letter boxed on my bid hd tv and the m2t file fills the entire screen. I do not want to crop the entire m2t file!!

Is there a way to make it so they all come out the same.

the cineform files under properties state 1440x1080 in 1.33.
of course the m2t file is native.

I would like to have them all be the same.

Is there an easy way to do this???

More info is needed. What format are you writting to, as this seems just a user issue regarding aspect ratios? From Vegas export a 1920x1080 16x9 CineForm AVI for your complete production. That should be correct, then import that into your DVD or BluRay encoding application. For SD export take your 1080p master and make an SD master -- again CineForm. My advice, always make a 1080p/i or 720p master (using CineForm) before going to your target output, this solves so many issue, and give you a file you can review outside of the NLE.

David,

Thank you for the response. I am rendering a master as i write this. I am simply going to 1440x1080 and burning the blu ray off the Vegas timeline.
My only concern is losing resolution/Quality by multiple renders.

In the future I will keep everything the same just to keep it simple. 20 20 hindsight.

It is a 1 hr 20 mn video and it will take (so the computer says) 1hr 40 mn to render.

I will return at lunch to let you know how it worked.

thank you again.
